Stories are short-lived posts that disappear automatically after a set period. They're perfect for quick updates, behind-the-scenes moments, or content that doesn't need to stay on your profile.
Creating a Story
- Open the BeMatrx app.
- On the home feed, tap your profile picture in the Stories bar, or tap
+and chooseStory. - Take a photo, record a video, or upload from your gallery.
- Add text, mentions, or location.
- Tap
Share.
Viewing Stories
Stories from users you follow appear at the top of your home feed. Tap a user's Story ring to watch their latest Story.
While watching:
- Tap the right side of the screen to skip to the next Story
- Tap the left side to go back
- Swipe down or tap the X to close
Who can see your Stories
By default, your Stories are visible to anyone who can see your profile. You can adjust your Story privacy in Settings > Privacy.
Story expiration
Stories disappear automatically after a set period. If you want content to stay on your profile longer, post it as a Moment instead.
Saving your own Stories
Before your Story disappears, you can save it to your device:
- While viewing your own Story, tap the menu icon.
- Tap
Save to device.
