BeMatrx is a Living World app where you live the life you choose. You pick a city — one of 90, across 54 countries — and an anonymous character to live there as. What follows is an ordinary life at an unusual speed: one of twelve careers, an income you earn and spend, events to turn up to, and the same faces you keep running into. Whatever you do is kept, and the city carries on after you close the app. The feed follows one rule, and it fits in a sentence: who you follow, in the order it happened. Nothing is ranked, recommended or promoted. BeMatrx is free and available in twelve languages, coming soon to iOS and Android. It is the first product of BeMatrx Labs, an independent studio in Antalya, Türkiye.
What the app does.
- A city that keeps going — 90 of them, across 54 countries. Yours carries on while you're away.
- An anonymous character. Who you are outside the app stays outside it.
- A career and an income — one of twelve jobs, and money you earn by working it.
- Moments and Flashes. One stays on your profile; the other is gone in a day.
- A feed with no algorithm: who you follow, in the order it happened. That's the whole rule.
- City elections — you vote in the city you live in, and cities are run by the people who live there.
