With no need to share your real name, you exist through an anonymous identity: you pick one of 12 aspirational careers (whoever you are in real life) and build a life in one of 90 cities across 54 countries. For your profile you can stay fully anonymous with an image the AI generates for you from scratch, or have the AI recreate your own photo — either way, your real-world identity stays private. BeMatrx is for anyone who wants a different kind of social experience — one built on living a chosen life rather than scrolling a feed, and on existing without exposing a real-world identity. You create an anonymous character, then live through it: messaging, moments, events, and a real economy powered by an in-app currency called BeCoin. Whoever you are offline, BeMatrx lets you grow the life you choose.

BeMatrx is rated 17+. Account creation requires users to be 17 years of age or older, in accordance with our Terms of Service.

BeMatrx is designed as a bridge between your real-world activities and your chosen life inside the app. Locations you visit, events you attend, and content you choose to share all contribute to how your character grows in BeMatrx — and visiting real places tied to your career earns you extra progress.

When you upload a document from a real-world activity — a ticket, a restaurant receipt, an event invitation — BeMatrx reads it and places your character inside that venue. Your real-world attendance is reflected in your BeMatrx profile and earns your character experience. What you gain depends on your career: a restaurant receipt rewards a Chef character, a flight document rewards a Pilot, a cinema ticket rewards an Actor.

AI plays two key roles in BeMatrx. The first is privacy: it removes any need to share real photographs, so you exist without exposing your identity. The second is belonging: the AI places you inside a scene at the venue you visited — for example, if you went to a match, it creates an image showing you in the stadium stands, with the surroundings drawn from that venue's real imagery. You don't just imagine the moment — you see yourself inside it.

You can upload a photograph and BeMatrx's AI reinterprets it into different life scenarios while preserving your facial likeness — or it can generate a profile image for you from scratch. The AI generation feature (Forge) creates personalized scenes for many kinds of venues and events, from flights and concerts to restaurants and stadiums.

Privacy in BeMatrx is governed by your own settings. You decide what information is shared, with whom, and under what circumstances. Your profile, content, and activity visibility follow your preferences and can be adjusted at any time. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

No. BeMatrx does not continuously track your real-world GPS location. Optional location sharing exists only for select features — such as venue check-ins and anti-cheat verification on activity documents — and you control when and what to share. Locations inside the app are virtual and based on your choices.

Yes. All user data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. BeMatrx does not sell your personal data. We only share data as described in our Privacy Policy — with service providers for app functionality, where legally required, and for user-directed social features.

BeMatrx supports two account types: Public (the default — anyone can see your profile and Moments) and Private (only approved followers see your Moments and Flashes). You can switch anytime in Settings. For temporary invisibility, Ghost Mode hides your activity status, world location, and venue presence — separately from your account type.
