Eight steps.
Then you're living there.
The app walks you through it once, the first time you open it — the whole thing takes about ten minutes, and you can skip any step.
The first ten minutes.
Skip any step- 01
Welcome in.
A short hello that says what this place is and what the next ten minutes look like. Nothing to fill in yet.
- 02
Become someone.
A name, a face, and the kind of person your character is. None of it has to match the you outside the app.
- 03
Choose your city.
You live in the city you pick, and it stays yours. It decides your neighbourhood, half of your feed, and most of the people you'll keep running into.
- 04
Step out to the landmark.
Every city has the one place everyone knows, and yours opens first. Nothing shows faster that the streets on the map are real places you can walk into.
- 05
Do the first thing.
Order a coffee, take a walk, go looking for work. One small action is enough — from here on, whatever you do, your character keeps.
- 06
Post a Moment or a Flash.
A Moment stays on your profile. A Flash is gone in a day. Either one puts you in front of the people around you.
- 07
Follow someone. Say something.
Find one person worth following and send them a message. That's the other half of your feed decided — and the first of everyone you'll know here.
- 08
That's it. You live here.
The last card closes and nobody tells you what to do next. Everything from here — where you go, who you talk to, what you build — is yours to pick.
After the last step the guide steps aside. The city is simply there, open, and what happens next is yours to decide.
What this is part of.
These eight steps drop you into a living world — a city that keeps going after you close the app, and a feed no algorithm arranges for you.
