BeMatrx makes it easy to share photos and videos directly in your chats.
Sending a photo or video
- Open a chat.
- Tap the attachment icon (paperclip or plus) next to the message field.
- Choose one of the following:
- Camera: Take a new photo or video.
- Gallery: Select existing media from your device.
- Add a caption if you'd like.
- Tap
Send.
Supported file types
You can share:
- Images (JPG, PNG, WebP)
- Videos (MP4)
- Profile cards (to introduce another BeMatrx user)
File size limits
Individual media files have a size limit to ensure fast delivery. If your file is too large, you'll see a message prompting you to choose a smaller file. Consider compressing large videos before sending.
Viewing media
Tap a photo or video in a chat to view it in full screen. You can:
- Pinch to zoom on photos
- Save media to your device (if the sender allows)
- Forward media to another chat
Media and disappearing messages
If you have disappearing messages turned on for a chat, any media you share will also disappear after the set duration. See About disappearing messages.
