Finding a job and getting paid

A job gives your character a title and a monthly salary in BeCoin. You find one at the Job Center in your city.

Finding work

  1. You need a home city set — job hunting is local.
  2. Open Job Listings. If it's shut, the screen tells you the opening hours: job hunting is only open during certain hours of the day.
  3. Browse the listings. Each shows the monthly salary and its requirements — usually a minimum level.
  4. Tap Apply and confirm.

Your first job

At entry level there are three rookie jobs. They pay the same and give the same XP — only the title differs. Pick the one you like the sound of; it stays yours as long as you're a rookie.

Salary

Salaries are monthly. Your first payment only covers the days left in the month, not a full month — the app tells you the amount before you confirm.

Moving up and moving on

  • Advancing — when you qualify for a higher rank, Advance raises your salary to the new figure
  • A better job elsewhere — you can move straight to a higher-paying job without resigning
  • A same-rank or lower job — you have to resign first

If you can't apply

  • "You do not meet the requirements" — check the level requirement on the listing
  • "Already employed" — you're in that job right now
  • "Resign first to switch" — the job you're aiming at isn't a step up
  • "No jobs available in this city" — try another city, or come back later

What the money is for

Salary lands in your bank account and pays for rent, recurring expenses, travel, and everything in the shops. See Banking, loans, and auto-payments and About BeCoin.
