A home, rent, and where you sleep

A home costs money every month, and it changes how your character's days end. Without one you still play — you just sleep rougher.

Renting

Find a home in your city and tap Rent a Home. Rent is monthly, and your first payment only covers the days left in the month. The amount is shown before you agree.

Moving to another city

You can move your home to a city you're visiting. Moving costs 500 BeCoin plus 1,000 BeCoin first month's rent — 1,500 in total — and it terminates your current home. If anything is owed back to you, it's refunded.

Your home stays where it is until you move it. If you're somewhere else, the app tells you which city your home is in.

Where you sleep

Every night your character sleeps somewhere, and it matters:

  • At home — the good case. You wake up with a morning greeting
  • At a roommate's place
  • A hotel — costs 20 BeCoin a night
  • Travelling — you slept in transit
  • On the street — what happens with no home and nowhere to go

Sleep and living conditions feed into mood. See About stamina and mood.

Rent comes out automatically

Rent and other recurring costs are collected on the 1st, right after your salary. See Banking, loans, and auto-payments.

Roommates

A home can be shared. Roommates split the cost and change the feel of the place. See Living with roommates.

Home storage

Things delivered to your home collect there, and you have to be at home to pick them up or put them down. See Shopping on BeShop.
