When a report against you is confirmed, BeMatrx doesn't just delete the post. The consequence plays out inside the world — at the police station, and if it happens again, at the courthouse.
First confirmed violation: the police station
You're summoned to give a statement. The app shows you the reason for the report, then asks one question: are you remorseful?
Then you choose your penalty:
- Pay a fine — settled in BeCoin. You need enough in your balance
- Do community service — a set number of timed sessions
Second confirmed violation: the courthouse
A second confirmed violation is different. You testify to the prosecutor, and you're facing prison time.
Serving a sentence
The prison screen shows your sentence and when you get out. While you're inside:
- You can't travel between cities
- You can't join Be Meetups or Social Club events
- You can't buy event tickets
- You can't host on BeLocal
Two things shorten the wait: hiring a lawyer costs a fee and cuts time off your sentence, and community service runs in timed sessions you complete from inside.
Other characters can visit you — Visit Inmate is an action at the prison.
This is separate from account moderation
The in-world justice system runs alongside the account-level one, not instead of it. Depending on what happened, your account may also be warned, restricted, suspended, or permanently banned. You'll see a banner telling you which, and when a restriction ends.
- Restricted — you can't create content
- Suspended — you can't send messages either
- Banned — permanent

Content under review
While a complaint about a post is being reviewed, you can't delete that post. It's held until the review finishes.
