How to post a Moment

A Moment is a post that stays on your profile. Unlike a Flash, it doesn't disappear.

Posting a Moment

1. Tap the + button in the middle of the tab bar and choose Moment.
2. Pick a mode — Spotlight or Alchemy (see below).
3. Add your photo or video, and edit it if you like — crop, rotate, flip, or change the aspect ratio.
4. Write a caption. You can mention people with @ and add a location.
5. Tap send.

The two modes

Spotlight

A real photo or video, taken with your camera or chosen from your library. Spotlight Moments earn 5× XP — real life is what the world runs on.

Alchemy

AI turns a photo of yours into artwork. Pick an image from your library, or use Scan Document to capture a ticket, receipt, or document. Alchemy Moments earn 1× XP and are labelled AI-Generated so everyone can tell.

There's a daily limit on Alchemy Moments; the app shows how many you have left. Spotlight Moments have no daily limit.

Stamina

Posting a Moment costs stamina. If your character is out of stamina, you'll see Not Enough Stamina — wait for it to recover and try again. See About stamina and mood.

After you post

Your Moment appears in your followers' feeds and on your profile, and can be found in search. People can like, comment on, rate, and save it. See Commenting and reacting on posts.

Editing or deleting

Open the Moment on your profile, tap the menu, and choose Edit caption or Delete. Deleted Moments cannot be recovered.
