Settings is where you manage your account, privacy, notifications, appearance, and language. Open the Profile tab and tap the gear icon.
What's in Settings
- Personal information — your real name (never shown anywhere), date of birth, email, phone number
- Profile & career — edit profile, share your profile card, career
- Login & security — password, connected accounts (Google, Apple), biometric sign-in
- Preferences — display & theme, language, accessibility, app icon
- Notifications — see Managing notifications
- Privacy & activity — account privacy, Ghost Mode, active status, read receipts, follow requests, blocked users, device permissions
- Saved & Ratings — Moments and Flashes you've bookmarked, plus everything you've rated
- Support & info — Help Center, About, Terms, Privacy Policy, Report a Problem
- Account actions — reset all progress, delete account, sign out
Language
BeMatrx is available in 12 languages: English, Turkish, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Traditional Chinese. Change it under Settings > Language.
Switching to or from Arabic requires a restart so the app can flip to right-to-left layout. The app tells you and offers to restart.
Theme
BeMatrx follows your device theme by default. You can pin it to light or dark under Display & theme.
Accessibility
Under Preferences > Accessibility you'll find colour-blindness modes (red-green, blue-yellow), reduce motion, haptic feedback, and extra screen-reader hints.
Download your data
Personal information > Download my data exports your account data as a JSON file and opens a share sheet so you can keep it.
Reset all progress
If you want to start your character over, Account actions > Reset All Progress clears your level, XP, stats, inventory, achievements, and career progress. Your account itself — email, BeMatrx ID, followers — is kept.
You'll be asked to type RESET to confirm. It cannot be undone.
Resetting is not the same as deleting your account. See How to delete your account.
Account information
Settings also shows your BeMatrx ID, your character name, and whether your email is verified. Your BeMatrx ID and character name cannot be changed. For email changes, see Changing your email address.
