Managing your account settings

Your account settings are where you manage your email, password, notifications, language, and other preferences.

Accessing settings

  1. Open the BeMatrx app.
  2. Tap the Profile tab.
  3. Tap the settings icon (gear).

What you can manage

The settings menu is organized into sections:

  • Account & Security: Edit profile, share profile, change password, two-factor authentication
  • Notifications: Push notifications, in-app notifications, sound, email
  • Saved: Moments you've bookmarked
  • Appearance: Theme (light/dark/system), Language
  • Privacy: Ghost Mode, activity status, blocked users
  • Support & Info: Help Center, contact support, legal documents
  • Account Actions: Reset all progress, delete account, sign out

Language settings

BeMatrx is currently available in English on the app. The website is available in English and Turkish. Additional languages are coming. You can update your language preference any time in Settings > Language.

Resetting all progress

If you want to start your character from scratch, you can use the "Reset All Progress" feature. This deletes your progress and lets you make a fresh start.

Resetting is different from deleting your account:

  • Reset: Your character, level, BeCoin, Moments, Stories, and progress are cleared. Your account (email, BeMatrx ID, followers) is preserved.
  • Account deletion: Your entire account is permanently removed. See Deleting your account.

Resetting cannot be undone. Think carefully before doing this to make sure nothing you want to save is lost.

How to reset all progress

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to Account Actions.
  3. Tap Reset All Progress.
  4. Read the confirmation dialog and confirm.

Dark mode

BeMatrx follows your device's system theme by default. You can override this in settings to always use light or dark mode.

Account information

Your profile also shows basic account information:

  • Your BeMatrx ID
  • Your verified email address
  • The date you joined
