BeMatrx notifies you about messages, social activity, your character's life, and reminders. Everything is under Settings > Notifications.
The master switches
- Push notifications — turns every type on or off at once
- Sound — notification sounds on or off
- Preview text on lock screen — show the sender's name and the message text on your lock screen, or keep it hidden for privacy
Three categories
Social
New followers, unfollows, likes, comments, mentions, direct messages, and reactions to your Flashes.
My Life
Salary, rent, recurring expenses, incoming transfers, level ups, achievements, completed quests, housing and roommate events, overnight stays, BeLocal, and cinema.
Reminders
Venue and schedule reminders, plus a digest of what you missed if you've been away for three days or more.
Turning individual types on and off
Open a category to see every notification type inside it, each with its own switch. So you can keep direct messages on while turning off, say, unfollows or expense charges.
System-level permission
Your device also decides whether BeMatrx can notify you at all. If you've turned notifications off at the system level, the in-app switches can't override it:
- iOS: Settings → Notifications → BeMatrx → allow notifications
- Android: Settings → Apps → BeMatrx → Notifications → enable
If BeMatrx doesn't have permission yet, a card at the top of the notification settings offers to turn it on.
