How to delete your account

You can delete your BeMatrx account from inside the app. Your account closes the moment you confirm, and you have 30 days to change your mind: sign in again within 30 days and the deletion is canceled, with everything back the way it was. After 30 days everything is permanently erased and can't be recovered.

How to delete

1. Open Settings.
2. Scroll down to Danger Zone and tap Delete Account.
3. Confirm with your password. If your email address isn't verified yet, type DELETE instead.

The moment you confirm, your account is closed.

What happens

• Your profile and content leave everyone's view
• Your posts stop appearing in the feed and in search
• You're signed out and can't use the account while the deletion is pending — signing in again within 30 days cancels it
• Notifications from BeMatrx stop

Other users won't be able to find you, view your content, or message you anymore.

What about backups?

Encrypted technical backups maintained by our infrastructure provider follow their standard rotation cycle and aren't user-accessible. Anonymized log data may be kept briefly for security purposes — none of it identifies you personally.

Before you delete

After the 30 days, deletion can't be undone. If you just want a break, try Ghost Mode or set your profile to private instead. If you're sure, the option is in Settings.
