Your character has stats that represent their abilities. Stats grow over time as you take actions in the BeMatrx world.
The three core stats
- Intelligence — Represents knowledge, strategy, and mental skills
- Physical — Represents strength, fitness, and physical skill
- Influence — Represents social impact, charisma, and creativity
How stats grow
You earn stat points by taking actions that match the stat. For example:
- Studying or reading can grow Intelligence
- Training or working out can grow Physical
- Performing or socializing can grow Influence
Each career tends to focus on one of these stats, which means that stat grows fastest when you match your actions to your career.
Stat caps
Each stat has a maximum value, and each career has specific caps tailored to its focus. Your career's main stat can reach the highest level, while other stats have lower caps.
Levels and XP
As you take actions, you earn experience points (XP). Earning XP raises your overall level. Higher levels unlock new content, venues, and features.
There is a maximum level, which ensures long-term progression has an end point.
Daily activity
To prevent burnout and keep the BeMatrx experience balanced, there are daily limits on how much XP you can earn. If you hit the daily limit, you'll continue using BeMatrx but won't earn more XP until the next day.
Balance between stats
Focusing on your career's main stat will help you master your career. However, developing your other stats makes you a more well-rounded character and opens up new interactions.
