About ratings and reputation

BeMatrx uses ratings to help community members share feedback on each other's work and build their reputation over time.

How ratings work

Ratings are given on Moments and certain types of content. Other community members can rate your content on a scale of 1 to 10, giving you an average rating that appears on your profile.

What gets rated

  • Moments you post

Who can see ratings

  • Your average rating is visible on your profile and on each rated item
  • The total number of ratings is visible alongside the average
  • The specific score each individual community member gave is not shown to you or the creator

This means you see the overall response to your content, but not exactly who rated it or what score each person gave.

How ratings affect your career

Higher ratings can:

  • Increase your visibility in your career community
  • Unlock higher-profile opportunities
  • Contribute to achievements

Handling low ratings

Not every Moment will get high ratings, and that's okay. A low rating on one post does not harm your overall reputation significantly. Keep creating content that you're proud of.

Rating abuse

When you rate other users' work:

  • Be fair and thoughtful
  • Rate based on content quality, not personal feelings
  • Don't coordinate with others to inflate or attack someone's rating

Coordinated rating abuse is against community guidelines and may result in restrictions on your account. See About community guidelines.
