Not for now. You choose your career once while creating your character, and it stays locked from that point on — there's no way to switch to a different career later.
Why your career is locked
Your career shapes your stat caps, the venues that open up to you, and the community you belong to. Fixing it at character creation keeps that progression consistent for everyone.
If you open your career in the app, you'll only see an informational note explaining this. There's no save button on that screen, because there's nothing to change.
Reviewing careers and their stat caps
You can still look at every career and compare what each one offers:

Settings. - Tap
Career. - Browse the careers to see their focus areas and stat caps.
This screen is for reviewing only — you can't pick a career from it. For more on what stat caps mean, see About stats and leveling up.
Will career changes be possible later?
Career change is planned as a separate feature for a future update. Until then, the career you choose during character creation is the one you keep.
