Changing your career path

You can change your character's career path after you've chosen your first career. This lets you explore different parts of the BeMatrx world.

How to change your career

1. Open the Profile tab.
2. Tap Edit Profile.
3. Tap your career.
4. Select a new career from the available list.
5. Confirm the change.

Career change limits

Changing careers is a significant decision. To keep the system balanced, there may be limits on how often you can change, and a cost in BeCoin may apply. See About BeCoin.

What happens when you change career

When you switch careers:

• Your stat caps adjust to match the new career's focus
• Your existing stat values are preserved but may now be above your new caps for certain stats
• Your level and XP carry over
• Your Moments, followers, and messages remain unchanged

Deciding whether to change

Before switching, consider:

• Do you want to explore new venues and communities?
• Are your current stats well-suited for the new career's focus?
• Do you want to start fresh in a different field?

If you're not sure, try interacting with venues and communities of the career you're considering. This will give you a better sense of whether the switch is right for you.
