Customizing your character’s appearance

Your character's appearance is a big part of your BeMatrx identity. You can update it anytime to match your style or mood.

What you can customize

• Avatar and face
• Skin tone
• Eye color
• Hair color
• Hair length and texture

How to customize

1. Open the Profile tab.
2. Tap Edit Profile.
3. Tap your avatar or the customize option.
4. Make your changes.
5. Tap Save.

Using an AI-generated avatar

BeMatrx can generate a face for you so you can stay anonymous, or turn a photo of yours into a portrait. Either way your real identity stays private.

An anonymous face is locked for 30 days. Once you confirm one, you can generate a new one after 30 days — so take a moment before you settle on it.

Profile photos

You can upload a custom profile photo or use an AI-generated one. To upload your own photo:

1. Tap your avatar.
2. Select Upload Photo.
3. Choose a photo from your device or take a new one.

Photos that violate community guidelines will be removed. See About community guidelines.

Visibility

Your customized appearance is visible to anyone who can see your profile. You can control profile visibility in your privacy settings. See Controlling who can see your profile.
