BeMatrx gives you control over who can see your profile, Moments, Stories, and online status.
Privacy settings overview
- Open
Settings. - Tap
Privacy.
From here, you can control:
- Who can see your online status (activity status)
- Ghost Mode (temporary invisibility)
- Blocked users list
- Who can mention or tag you
- Who can send you messages (message requests)
Profile visibility
BeMatrx supports two profile types: Public (default — anyone can find and view your profile, Moments, and Stories) and Private (only approved followers can see your Moments and Stories). You can switch between them anytime in Settings → Privacy. You can also protect your privacy by blocking specific users or enabling Ghost Mode. See How to block users and About Ghost Mode.
Activity status
Your activity status shows when you're online. You can:
- Turn it off completely
- Use Ghost Mode for temporary invisibility

Message privacy
You can enable or disable message requests from strangers. See About message requests for how message requests work.
Mention privacy
You can manage your mention and tag preferences in Settings > Privacy.
Blocked users
Review and manage your blocked users list from Settings > Privacy > Blocked Users.
Best practices
Your privacy settings are personal — choose what works for you. Some users prefer full openness, while others prefer strict privacy. You can change your settings at any time.
