About Ghost Mode

Ghost Mode is a privacy feature that lets you use BeMatrx without being visible to other community members. When Ghost Mode is on:

• Your online status is hidden from others
• Your location in the world is hidden
• Other community members cannot see if you're at a venue
• You cannot see other community members' online status either (it works both ways)
• You cannot like, comment, follow, or post Moments and Stories

When to use Ghost Mode

Ghost Mode is helpful when you want to:

• Take a privacy break
• Use BeMatrx without being contacted
• Explore the app without appearing active to your followers

How to enable Ghost Mode

1. Open the Settings menu.
2. Go to Privacy.
3. Tap Ghost Mode.
4. Toggle the switch on.

You'll see a confirmation that Ghost Mode is active.

What Ghost Mode does NOT do

• Does not hide your profile (others can still visit your profile page)
• Does not block incoming messages — others can still send you messages, and you'll see them after exiting Ghost Mode
• Does not delete your presence history
• Does not affect Moments and Stories already posted

What Ghost Mode DOES do

• Hides your online status from others
• Hides your world location and venue presence
• Pauses your action feed in the world
• Disables your ability to send messages while active
• Reciprocally — you also can't see others' online status or world activity

How long it lasts

When you enable Ghost Mode, it stays on for a minimum of 1 hour. After you turn it off, there is a 12-hour cooldown before you can re-enable. The app shows you the exact timing when you toggle the setting.
