How to block users

If someone is bothering you on BeMatrx, you can block them. Blocking prevents all future contact from that user.

How to block a user

1. Open the user's profile.
2. Tap the menu icon (three dots) in the top-right corner.
3. Tap Block.
4. Confirm.

You can also block someone from their chat:

1. Open a chat with the user.
2. Tap their name at the top.
3. Tap Block.

What blocking does

When you block a user:

• They cannot send you messages or voice messages
• They cannot comment on your Moments or Stories
• They cannot react to your content
• They cannot see your online status
• Your profile may be hidden from them, depending on privacy settings

Does the user know I blocked them?

BeMatrx does not send a notification when you block someone. However, the blocked user may notice that they can no longer interact with you.

Unblocking a user

If you change your mind, you can unblock:

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap Privacy > Blocked Users.
3. Find the user and tap Unblock.

After unblocking, the user can contact you again, but you won't see any messages they tried to send while blocked.

Blocking vs. reporting

Blocking is for users who bother you but don't necessarily violate guidelines. If a user is violating community guidelines (harassment, hate speech, illegal content), report them as well. See How to report inappropriate content.
