Some cities in BeMatrx hold elections where residents can vote for officials. There are four official roles, each with different responsibilities and influence on city life.
The four official roles
Mayor
The Mayor leads the city and makes decisions that affect overall city life — events, public spaces, and resident benefits.
Police Chief
The Police Chief oversees safety and enforcement in the city. Affects how rule violations and conflicts between community members are handled.
Chief Judge
The Chief Judge handles judicial matters and disputes between residents. Their decisions can influence community standards.
University Rector
The University Rector heads the city's academic institution. Affects skill learning opportunities, mentor programs, and education-related events.
Election cycle
Each election goes through three phases:
- Registration Open — Eligible community members can declare candidacy.
- Voting Active — Residents vote for their preferred candidates.
- Results — Winners are announced and take office.
How to run for office
- Open the

- Submit your candidacy.
- Campaign during the registration period to attract voters.
