Going to the cinema

Every city has a cinema. You buy a ticket for a showtime, turn up, and watch — and the film goes on your record.

Buying a ticket

  1. Go to the cinema and open Now Playing.
  2. Pick a film — you can see the overview, the cast, and the trailer on its page.
  3. Choose a showtime, today or tomorrow.
  4. Confirm. The price is in BeCoin.

My Tickets

Your tickets are split into Upcoming and Past, each with a status: Upcoming, Watched, Missed, or Cancelled.

Showtime

The app looks after the timing for you:

  • A reminder about 30 minutes before the film starts
  • When it starts, you're seated in the hall and told
  • If you don't make it, the ticket is marked Missed
  • If you leave before the end, you're told — and you lose the reward

You can switch these notifications on and off individually. See Managing notifications.

Watching again

You can rewatch a film you've already seen, but there's no reward the second time — the app reminds you of the date you first watched it.

Adding a film to a Moment

A film you've watched, or hold a ticket for, can be attached to a Moment. See How to post a Moment.

The weekly film

Alongside ticketed showings, cinemas run a film of the week you can simply sit down and watch.
