Every part of BeMatrx that is switched on is open to everyone from the first day. Nothing unlocks step by step, and nothing waits for your account to grow. A few parts are still being built, and those are coming soon. Nothing has been removed — if you land on a locked screen, it is not broken.
Open from day one
All of this is open from your first minute:
- Sign-up (no invitation needed) and your anonymous avatar
- The home feed, Moment and Flash
- Messages, including Whisper
- Your profile, other players' profiles, and Connect
- The World tab: cities, venues, jobs and careers, quests
- Renting a home, Travel and My Reservations
- BeShop, News, Rankings, the cinema and restaurant invitations
- Skills and mentors
- Your wallet, BeCoin and Online Banking
- Achievements and notifications
- Settings, privacy, blocking, and this Help Center
No screen starts in a shortened form either: the World tab, venue pages and Connect pages show everything from your first visit. Some actions have their own requirement — taking a loan, for example, needs level 10 — but no part of the app is held back from new accounts.
Coming soon
These exist but are still closed, and they will open later: BeZaar, BeLocal and its trips, real-life meetup check-in, real-world event pages, and Audition.
The first election is on 1 November: voting is open for that day and results are announced on 2 November. Players can already run for office, and the stand-in mascots step aside as candidates join. The Mayor's seat isn't open yet.
If you see a locked screen
You will see Not open yet with a short explanation. Links and notifications that point to those features still work — they simply land on that screen. The back button takes you where you came from, and nothing you have done is lost.
