BeMatrx is a social mobile application where you live a chosen life. Here's a quick overview of the app's main areas.
The 5 main tabs
Home
Your home feed shows Moments and Stories from users you follow. This is where you'll see what's happening in the BeMatrx community.
World
The World tab shows all the virtual cities in BeMatrx. Visit cities, explore venues, and meet other community members. See Exploring cities in BeMatrx.
Create
The Create tab is where you post new content. Share Moments, post Stories, and create your contributions to the BeMatrx community.
Messages
Send private messages to other users. Chat one-on-one, share photos, send voice messages, and react to messages. See Sending messages to other users.
Profile
Your profile is your personal page. It shows your character, career, moments, and stats. Other users can visit your profile to learn more about you and follow your journey.
Content types
Moments
Moments are posts you share with your followers. You can post photos, text, or both. Moments appear in your followers' feeds and on your profile. See How to post a Moment.
Stories
Stories are temporary posts that disappear automatically after a short time. They're perfect for quick updates, behind-the-scenes moments, or anything you don't want to keep permanently. See About Stories.
Settings
Access privacy controls, notification preferences, account settings, and this Help Center from the Settings menu. Settings opens from your Profile tab.
Your first steps
If you're new, here are some helpful first steps:
- Complete your profile. Adjust your character's appearance so other community members can get to know you.
- Follow a few users. Check out the suggestions on your home feed, or explore the World tab and follow community members whose content you enjoy.
- Post your first Moment. From the Create tab, share something small to introduce yourself.
- Visit a venue. Open the World tab, pick a city, and enter a venue. This is often how you'll meet other community members.
- Review your privacy settings. From your Profile, open Settings and decide who can message you, see your profile, and mention you.
Getting comfortable
There's no single right way to use BeMatrx. Some users focus on social connections and messaging. Others explore cities, build their reputation, or create content. Explore at your own pace and discover what works for you.
