Four tabs and a + button
Home
Your feed: Moments from the people you follow, and their Flashes in the glowing rings at the top.
World
Cities, venues, travel, quests, rankings, news, and elections — elections open at the end of the first week. See Exploring cities in BeMatrx.
Messages
Your private conversations and message requests. See Sending messages to other users.
Profile
Your character, career, stats, Moments, wallet, and the door to Settings.
The + button
In the middle of the tab bar. It opens three ways to post: Moment, Flash, and Check-in.
What you can post
- Moment — a photo or video post that stays on your profile. See How to post a Moment
- Flash — a quick share that disappears after 24 hours. See About Flashes
- Check-in — share where you are right now
Settings
Settings opens from your Profile tab: privacy, notifications, appearance, language, accessibility, account, and this Help Center. See Managing your account settings.
Your first steps
- Give your character a face and finish your profile.
- Follow a few people — from your feed or from the World tab.
- Post your first Moment to introduce yourself.
- Visit a venue in your city. That's usually where you meet people.
- Look through Settings > Privacy and decide who can reach you.
There's no single right way to use BeMatrx. Some people focus on conversation, others on building a career, a reputation, or a city. Go at your own pace.
