You don't need an invitation to join BeMatrx. Anyone can download the app and create an account — there's no invite code to hunt down, no gate, and no waiting list.
Invitations are a different thing entirely. Once you're in, you can bring the people you'd like to have around you, and when they arrive you both get something out of it.
Inviting a friend
Open Settings > Invite friends. Two things are waiting there:
- Your invite link — copy it, or share it straight from your phone. It opens your profile page on our website, and your friend can get the app from there.
- Your invite code — the same nine digits in a form you can read out loud or drop into a message.
Making the invitation count as yours
On Android, your friend tapping your link and installing from the Play Store is enough — the app works out who brought them.
On iPhone there's no way to carry that through the App Store, so your friend enters your code by hand after installing: Settings > Invite friends > Did someone invite you?
Either way it can only be recorded in the first 30 days of their account. After that the credit can't be added.
What you both get
The moment the invitation is recorded, the two of you are connected: you follow each other, and on Connect your relationship starts further along than it would with a stranger. If one of you has a private account, a follow request goes out instead — an invitation never overrides anyone's privacy settings.
You both earn XP as well. Your friend's arrives with the invitation; yours arrives once they've properly got going. The first person you bring also earns you the Door Opener achievement.
Seeing who you've brought
The same screen keeps the tally — who brought you in, and how many people you've brought. Your profile carries it too.
If a code won't go through
- "That code isn't valid." — check the digits; an invite code is nine numbers long
- "No one has this code." — the code doesn't belong to anybody, so check it with the person who sent it
- "You can't enter your own code." — the code is for other people
- "Someone is already recorded as the person who brought you in." — this can only be set once
- "This can only be recorded in your account's first 30 days." — the window has closed
