Invitations and getting in

BeMatrx is invite-only right now. You need an invitation to create an account — or you can join the waitlist and we'll write when a spot opens.

Three ways to use an invitation

• The 6-digit code from your invite email — type it on the opening screen
• Your email address — tap Check by email and enter the address the invitation was sent to. The app finds it for you
• The invite link — opening it on your phone takes you straight in

The email address on an invitation is fixed. If the invitation was sent to one address, you have to sign up with that address.

Invitations expire in 3 days

An unused invitation lapses three days after it's sent. If yours has expired, ask whoever invited you to send a new one — expiring frees up their slot, so they can.

No invitation yet?

On the invite screen, tap Join the waitlist. We'll email you when a place comes free. You can also join from the website.

Inviting other people

Once you're in, you can bring people with you. Open Settings > Invite friends, enter an email address, and tap Send.

• You can have 3 active invitations at a time
• An invitation counts against that limit while it's pending or after it's been accepted
• When a pending invitation expires, the slot comes back and you can invite someone else
• You can't send a second invitation to an address that already has an active one

The screen shows how many days are left on each pending invitation, and marks the ones that have been used.

Common problems

• "This code isn't valid or has expired" — check the digits, then ask for a fresh invitation
• "No invitation found for this email" — you may be checking a different address than the one it was sent to
• "This invitation has already been used" — each invitation works once
• "You can't redeem your own invitation" — invitations are for other people
