BeLocal is the one place in BeMatrx where you may end up meeting someone in person. These are the same five principles the app shows you, plus what to do when something goes wrong.
Meet in public places
For a first meeting, pick a cafe, a Social Club event, or another public spot — not someone's home. Tell someone you trust where you're going and when you expect to be back.
Don't share your live location
Share the meeting point and the time. Nothing more. Never send your live GPS location to someone you've just met.
Trust your instincts
If something feels off, leave. You don't owe anyone an explanation — not a reason, not an apology, not a second chance.
Report or block anytime
Every BeLocal request, trip, and profile can be reported or blocked in one tap. Doing it doesn't notify the other person. See How to report inappropriate content and How to block users.
The red lines
Help through BeLocal never involves:
- Handling cash or brokering any money transfer
- Holding or carrying someone else's valuables
- Signing or submitting official documents for someone
- Lodging or an overnight stay
- Carrying a package whose contents you haven't seen
If someone asks you for any of these, the answer is no — and please report it. These limits are in section 5 of the Terms of Service, so breaking them can cost the account.
What "verified" does and doesn't mean
Every active host has a verified account. That means we checked the account — not the person behind it. BeMatrx does not run background checks, criminal-record checks, or identity checks, and makes no promise about anyone's character or conduct. References and tiers tell you what other members experienced; they are not a guarantee.
If something goes wrong
In an emergency, call your local emergency services first. BeMatrx is not an emergency service and cannot intervene in the physical world.
Once you're safe, report it in the app and write to support@bematrx.com with what happened. Put URGENT in the subject line if there's a safety risk.
